My 4th IP adventure with the Tottenham squad
I was lucky enough to visit England during this summer. I stayed there for 3 days. London is a city in which many IP adventures can be made. As an autograph collector, it was a must to look for autographs. I decided to take one day off from my vacation and hunt for some of them. But before that, I did a small research and asked tips from people. They say that teams like Chelsea and Arsenal are too hard to reach, so I decided to take one step back and choose Tottenham as my new goal. I chose them mainly because of Harry Kane, and because I’m a Blaugrana. (And remember Harry Kane killed Chelsea!) After making my decision, I printed all the photos I needed and prepared myself for the adventure.

First, I went straight to the training ground at 8:30. I took a train and arrived there at 11. I got worried because people said that the team stopped training from 10-12. I was scarred about missing the players, so i was in a rush. I also had to take a cab from the train station, as the place was 2 miles away. When I arrived to the ground, there was no one standing outside. So I asked the security if the players will train, and at what time the team may leave. The answer was “At 5.” Then they told me that the players are not allowed to sign autographs on the road because it was dangerous. They even putted an information "no autograph signing" just after I came. I was so devastated and angry!

Later on, I meet a small family, who were huge Tottenham’s fans. I got to know that it was their 4th time in the field getting autographs. They told me that the players will still be nice enough to sign pictures. As they were experienced, they said that the team will go out at 1.
So I waited till 1, with no one out. Suddenly, a black Land Rover drove out of the gate very fast. Everyone thought that it was Harry Kane, but the car didn’t stop. I was really sad that I couldn’t get Harry Kane’s autograph. I mean... that was my goal. That was the thing I came for. Then I realized that it could be someone else, so I kept the spirit high, and hoped he would come later. After that, the next car came out and stopped. My body, and mind, and soul and everything was filled with excitement! The car’s owner was Nacer Chadli. I ran to him, took pictures and grabbed some autographs. More and more players came to us. They were nice enough to stop on the road, and give us some time. Later, Tom Carol came. I had a chance to ask him “Who do you think will win the Ballon d’or?” He said Messi again, and I was also able to film it. [Link to the film at the bottom]

I stood outside till 4 waiting for Harry Kane, who still we haven't meet. People said that they had a meeting. The owner of the club was even there. That’s why the players came out late. They usually go out between 11-12. This time they were coming out from 2. At 4 I gave up, so I decided to call a cab home. I called the cab. And then! Suddenly! A car drove out of the gate with no one else but Harry Kane. I was so exited to see him. I immediately ran to him, got a picture and bunch of autographs. As a Blaugrana, I had to ask him who does he think will win the Ballon d’Or. He said, he has to see, and I was able to film this too. [Link to the film at the bottom]

When the cab came, the manager came out too. The taxi had to wait a bit for me because I was getting pictures with the manager.
Even with the 6 hours of waiting, this was an amazing adventure. After all the struggle, I got what I was waiting for such a long time. 46 autographs :)
